Refund Policy

Biomodality (“Biomodality,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a subsidiary of Tefani, provides biometric verification services through our API under a subscription-based model. This Refund Policy explains our terms regarding trials, billing, cancellations, and refunds.
1. Free Trial
New clients are eligible for a one-time 7-day free trial for each plan.
- During the trial period, the client may access the service under the selected plan at no charge.
- Unless canceled before the trial period ends, the subscription will automatically transition to the selected monthly billing plan at the conclusion of the 7-day free trial.
2. Billing
- Once the free trial concludes and the subscription becomes active, the client will be charged on a monthly basis using the payment method provided at registration.
- If the initial payment following the free trial period fails, no grace period will be provided, and the service will be suspended immediately.
- For all subsequent billing cycles, if a payment attempt fails, a 7-day grace period will begin. During this period, the client’s service will continue uninterrupted, we will make additional attempts to collect payment, and the client may update their payment method and resubmit payment.
- If payment is not successfully collected by the end of the 7-day grace period, the service will be suspended.
- The client is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing and payment information.
3. Subscriptions
A client may maintain one or more active subscriptions, including multiple subscriptions for the same plan or for different plans. Purchasing a new subscription does not automatically cancel any existing subscription. This allows for uninterrupted service when renewing an API key, switching plans, or maintain multiple active subscriptions to accommodate high traffic. The client is responsible for canceling any unnecessary subscriptions.
4. Cancellation
- The client may cancel a subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting our support team.
- If a subscription is canceled during a free trial, the subscription will remain active until the conclusion of the trial period. No charges will be incurred following cancellation.
- If a subscription is canceled during a paid billing cycle, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. No additional charges will be incurred after cancellation.
5. Refund
All payments made to Biomodality are non-refundable.
- We do not issue partial or full refunds for any unused portion of the billing period.
- This policy applies regardless of whether the client has actively used the service during the billing period.
6. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
